About the Speaker

Gisella Faggi is writer, translator, and non-profit consultant with a deep interest in how migration, borders, and conflict shape lives.

As a non-profit professional with 15 years of experience working within the sector, she has a proven track record of developing and managing organizational and program budgets of up to $2.5 million, managing coalitions and subcontracting agencies, strategic planning and leadership development, designing and evaluating programs, conducting community needs assessments, drafting content for websites, fundraising campaigns, and technical material, and grants development, management, and writing.

She has a special interest in supporting organizations that work in the fields of immigrant and refugee rights. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies with the University of London, where she is developing a thesis on the intersection of art and citizenship in Italy.

Grants and fundraising training helps nonprofits serving the Mongolian community grow and make a bigger impact. The training teaches how to find funding, write grant proposals, and work with donors. We invite community leaders to join and gain the tools to bring lasting change.

Thank you to the Mongolian Consulate of Chicago for sponsoring this event. Please RSVP as in-person space is limited.
